On January 21, 2025, the next event on the topic "Increasing Women's Participation in Municipal Elections" was held in the Tartar region.

The coordinator of the Tartar Women's Resource Center and the representative of the "Coalition for Equal Development" in the Tartar region, Ms. Gumru Shamilova, emphasized that women's active participation is being observed in the political sphere, just as in other fields. She called on women to actively participate in the upcoming municipal elections in our country.

Ms. Chichak Alekperova, the secretary of the Election Commission of the 97th Tartar-Aghdara-Goranboy Election District, provided information about the election preparation process and procedures and spoke about the importance of women's active participation in this campaign.

Ms. Tunzala Valiyeva, who was elected chairperson of the Tartar City Municipality in 2019, emphasized in her speech the importance of women's active involvement in public and social life.

The event also included speeches and suggestions from a group of women entrepreneurs who are members of the Tartar Women's Resource Center.

It should be noted that the events are organized in cooperation with the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children Affairs, the Central Election Commission, and the "Coalition for Equal Development".
