Bahar Muradova
ChairpersonShe was born on March 20, 1962 in the city of Fuzuli. She graduated from Baku Light Industry Technical College with honors in 1981. She studied at the Faculty of Philology of Baku State University in 1984-1990. She received a second higher education in law in "Azerbaijan" University in 1994-2000. In 2009, she defended her dissertation on "The role of the OSCE in the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict" and received a PhD in political science. Currently, she is a dissertation candidate in the Doctor of Sciences program on "Foreign-political relations of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan: Bilateral and multilateral cooperation" with the specialty "Political institutions and systems" at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. She started working at Baku sewing factory No. 1 in 1981, in 1989 - 1992, she was the responsible secretary of the Yasamal district organization of the Azerbaijan Voluntary Book Lovers Society in 1992 - 1993, the Yasamal district organization of the "Care" society, and she was an instructor the Yasamal district executive in 1993 - 1995. She worked as a referent in the Public-Political Department of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1995 - 2000. She has been a member of the New Azerbaijan Party since 1993. She was a member of the Board of the New Azerbaijan Party Yasamal district organization in 1994 - 1999, and she was the deputy chairperson of the New Azerbaijan Party Women's Council in 1995 - 2009. She was elected a member of the Political Council and the Board of Directors at the 1st Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party held in 1999 and she worked as the deputy executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party until 2005. She was the chairperson of the New Azerbaijan Party International Relations Commission from 2013 to 2021. She was re-elected as a member of the Board of Directors at the New Azerbaijan Party congress held in March 2021. She was elected a deputy to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the New Azerbaijan Party in the II, III, IV and V convocations. In 2000 - 2005, she was a member of the Legal Policy and State Building Commission, as well as a member of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union. From 2005 to 2020, she was the deputy chairperson of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, from 2015 to 2020, she was the chairperson of the Human Rights Committee of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. She was the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly From 2005 to 2020, andshe was the head of the Azerbaijan-Switzerland inter-parliamentary relations working group of the Milli Majlis from 2008 to 2020. Since 2006, she has been a member of the Coordinating Council of World Azerbaijanis. She was a member of the State Commission on Prisoners and Missing Citizens in 2015-2020. By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 12, 2020, she was appointed the chairperson of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs. She is married and has one child. Awards: In 2012, she was awarded the Order of Glory by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2012, she was awarded the Honorary Medal of the Milli Majlis for her services in the development of parliamentarism and strengthening of inter-parliamentary relations in our country. In 2018, she was awarded the jubilee medal "100th anniversary of the Azerbaijani army (1918-2018)". In 2019, she was awarded the jubilee medal "100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan People's Republic (1918-2018)". In 2022, she was awarded the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Order of the 2nd degree "For service to the country". In 2023, "100th anniversary of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (1921-2021)" she was awarded with the jubilee medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2024, "100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev (1923-2023)" was awarded with the jubilee medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan. She is the laureate of a number of local and international awards.

Deputy ChairmanShe was born on March 1, 1949 in Shamkir district. She studied economics at the Baku Evening Oil Technical University in 1968-1971, and she studied political science at the Baku Higher Party School in 1973-1977. She started working in Ali-Bayramli city school No. 1 in 1966, and worked as a technical secretary in Ali-Bayramli city Party Committee in 1967-1970. She worked as the head of the general department in the Executive Committee of the Ali-Bayramli City Party Committee in 1970-1973, and she worked as an instructor in the Industrial Department of the Ali-Bayramli City Party Committee from 1973. She was appointed as the head of the City Mixed Goods Trade Department in 1978 and in the same year, was elected as the secretary for ideological issues of Ali-Bayramli Party Committee. She was appointed as the chairperson of the People's Control Committee of Ali-Bayramli city in 1983, and, she was appointed as the head of the Statistical Department of Ali-Bayramli city in 1991. After working in this position for six months, from the end of that year until 1995, she was the chairperson of the Council of People's Deputies of Ali-Bayramli city. By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1995, she was appointed the head of Ali-Bayramli City Executive Authority and worked in this position until 2005. In 2005, she was appointed deputy chairperson of the State Committee on Women Affairs by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2006, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, she was appointed the deputy chairperson of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs. Since 2007, she has been a member of the State Commission on Captive and Missing Citizens. She has been a member of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Trafficking of Narcotics since 2009. She has been a member of the New Azerbaijan Party since 1993. At the 7th congress of the party (March 5, 2021), she was elected the deputy chairperson of the YAP Veterans' Council. She is married and has four children. Awards: In 2008, she was awarded with the Order of Glory by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2017, she received the honorary title of "Honored civil servant" by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2019, she was awarded with the 2nd class "Labor" order by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2024, she was awarded with the jubilee medal of the Republic of “Azerbaijan 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev (1923-2023)".

Aynur Sofiyeva
Deputy ChairpersonAynur Sofiyeva was born on 19 July 1970 in Gakh district. In 1986, she graduated from secondary school with a gold medal and entered the faculty of journalism at Baku State University, graduating with honours in 1991. In 1997-2001, she received a second higher education in the speciality " Law" at Baku State University. From 1998 to 2000, she worked as a senior consultant in the Legal Department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population. In 2000-2005, she was a deputy of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2002-2007 she was appointed as the President of the Azerbaijani Chess Federation. In 2007, she was appointed as the Deputy Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs by the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Since 2016, she has been a member of the Amnesty Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Since 1995, she has been a member of the Yeni Azerbaijan Party. At the VII Congress of the party (5 March 2021) she was elected a member of the (YAP) Board. At the age of 6, she won the title of champion among youth, at the age of 14 - among girls, at the age of 15 - champion of Azerbaijan among women, at the age of 16 - champion among girls. At the age of 20, she became the world champion among students (2 gold medals), in the same year, she won a silver medal at the World Championship among girls under 20 years of age. In 1993 as part of the national team of Azerbaijan she won the silver medal of the World Championship among youth under 26 years of age, she is also the winner of many international tournaments. In 1990 she won the title of the first international grandmaster of Azerbaijan and the first international grandmaster among women in the Islamic world. Married and has two children. Awards: In 1995, she was awarded the "Taraggi" medal by the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2020, she was awarded the Order "For Services to the Fatherland" of the third degree.
