An event dedicated to March 31 - the Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis - is organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and the Public Council under the Committee.

The event will focus on conveying the truth about the crimes against humanity against Azerbaijanis, preserving the national memory of future generations and perpetuating the memory of the victims of the genocide.

Mrs. Bahar Muradova, the Chair of the State Committee, Mr. Nizami Jafarov and Mr. Nizami Safarov, the MPs, Mrs. Latifa Aliyeva, teacher of Baku State University, Doctor of Historical Sciences and the members of the Public Council, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations, were taking part at the round table.
