A meeting was held with women in Astara and Yardimli regions as part of the joint cooperation of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs with the Central Election Commission.

Ms. Sadagat Gahramanova, Deputy Chairperson of the State Committee, Mr. Aladdin Gasimov representative of Astara District Election Commission No. 79, Mr. Mammadov Mammad, representative of Yardimli-Masalli District Election Commission No. 75, and Ms. Zemfira Aghayeva, the chairperson of "Entrepreneurs Women" Public Union, took part in the meetings held to increase the activity of women in elections.

The speakers noted the importance of women's active participation in the presidential elections held in every region, which is of great importance in the social and political life of our country, and in the conditions where our country's sovereignty has been fully restored for the first time.

S. Gahramanova, Deputy Chairperson, noted that Azerbaijani women are always active in the country's social and political life, and drew attention to the importance of demonstrating this activity in the election process. Expressing her belief that women will effectively use their voter rights and duties as citizens of any country, she called on everyone to actively participate in the extraordinary presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan to be held on February 7.
