The days of fairy tales, covering a wide audience of children, and organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, with the support of Khatai District Executive Authority of Baku city ended today. About 5,000 children listened to the performances of Turkish and Azerbaijani storytellers during the three-day story days, which were welcomed by crowds.

The 3rd day of fairy tale days also passed with a cheerful mood and crowd.

The ceremony started with the performance of "Bayati-Shiraz" by Hazrat Azizli, the winner of the VIII "Mugam" Television Competition. Later, the artistic team of Children and Youth Development Center No. 3 performed. The children listened to the tales told by Turkish storytellers Hilal Koçyiğit and Ertuğrul Bozkurt, accompanied by music by Taner Baba and Tahir Ayne. Writer Gulzar Ibrahimova told the fairy tales she authored. The various folkloric games that were held aroused the interest of the children.

The ceremony continued with various national dances, Turkish dances and entertainment performed by children.

At the end, Mrs. Aynur Sofiyeva, the Deputy Chair of the Committee, thanked Bursa Municipality, Khatai District Executive Authority, and all the participants for their support in the organization of fairy-tale days. Letters of thanks were presented to the storytellers.

The ceremony ended with the joint performance of the song "Chirpinirdi Kara Diniz" and the dance "Yalli".

It should be noted that the purpose of the project is for children to become familiar with the culture, customs and traditions, folklore, and fairy tales of the fraternal country, to form reading habits among them, to effectively organize their leisure time, and to promote reading culture on a mass scale.
