An educational meeting called "Let's protect our future together, and stop drug addiction" was held as a continuation of the events carried out by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, on the eve of the "International Day of Combating Drug Addiction and Drug Business", with the support of the Shirvan City Executive Authority and the organization of the State Committee in the "Youth House" located in Shirvan.

Speaking at the meeting, R. Nasirov, an employee of the Social-Political and Humanitarian Affairs Department of Shirvan City Executive Authority, welcomed the participants and spoke about the purpose and importance of the event.

Naila Ibrahimova, an employee of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, focusing on the topic of the formation of young people as a healthy generation, spoke about the importance of educational events in this direction.

Later, Aydan Khasmammadzade,  Khazar University teacher and clinical psychologist who participated as an expert, made a presentation called "Dependence on psychoactive substances" and gave extensive information to the participants, talking about the consequences of harmful habits and their negative effects on human health.

At the end of the event, educational materials related to the topic were distributed to the participants.
