The winners of the "Best Writing" competition were awarded

The event dedicated to the results of the "Best essay" competition was held on the theme "The Great Leader who laid the foundation for the Great Return" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev  on May 5, 2023.

Mrs. Bahar Muradova, the Chairperson of the State Committee congratulated them and wished them success in their future activities.

She noted that Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan , who successfully continued the political line and development path of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, has a very important role in curbing Armenian fascism, which has threatened our country for centuries, and has its eyes on the territory of Azerbaijan, and in ensuring the territorial integrity of our country.

Emphasizing the importance of the topic, B. Muradova said that it gives both our youth and our writers an opportunity to shed light on the services of the great leader and the successes achieved by Azerbaijan through the policy defined by him.

At the end of her speech, Mrs. B. Muradova once again congratulated everyone who participated in the competition, noting that participating in this competition is a victory in itself, adding that the future development of the participants will always be the focus of the Committee.

Later, a film depicting the life path and political legacy of National leader Heydar Aliyev was shown.

In the continuation, public figure, member of the New Azerbaijan Party Veterans Council, professor Dilara Seyidzade shared her memories about the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

It was especially emphasized that the fact that the great leader is proud of being an Azerbaijani and repeatedly expressed it should be an example to the youth.

Mr.Elnur Nasibov,  the Chairperson of the Board of the Education Development Fund and Mrs. Tahir Mammadov, a member of the Veterans Council of the New Azerbaijan Party, as well as writer Mr. Tahir Mammadov a member of the competition's jury, , said that the leadership period of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was the highest stage of development in the history of Azerbaijan.

As a result of the wise policy of the National Leader, Azerbaijan has become an independent state in the truest sense of the word.

The winners shared their feelings of joy and thanked everyone who contributed to the competition. Noting the relevance of the topic, they emphasized that the holding of such contests is met with interest among young people.

It should be noted that 175 entries from more than 50 regions and Nakhchivan MR were included in the "Best Writing" competition dedicated to the theme "The Great Leader Who Created the Ground for the Great Return" held between young writers and schoolchildren from March 30 to April 25.  The winners were determined as a result of the evaluation of the articles by the Jury.
