Before the event, the graves of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and ophthalmologist Zarifa Aliyeva were visited in the Alley of Honor, and a wreath was placed in front of their monuments.

The event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan performed by the children of Children and Youth Development Center.

The dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who died heroically in the Patriotic War was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Then, a video was shown about the great leader Heydar Aliyev's care for children.

Mrs. Bahar Muradova, The Chairperson of the State Committee greeted the guests and said that the events with the participation of children are of special importance among the events held within the framework of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev".

She drew attention to the fact that this year is also valuable in terms of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Zarifa Aliyeva, the lifelong companion of the National leader.

Speaking about the great works done by Heydar Aliyev for the state and statehood of Azerbaijan, Mrs. B. Muradova emphasized that we should never forget the great leader's services to the people and the state, and we should implement the recommendations he gave us.

Speaking about the laws adopted in the country for the protection of children's rights, the chairman said that mechanisms for the implementation of these laws have been created. She said that the State Committee, as one of these mechanisms, takes necessary steps to ensure the protection of children's rights, their development and representation in all areas.

Expressing her belief that each of the children will be active in the competition, Mrs. B. Muradova wished success to everyone who participated.

The event continued with the teams fighting for victory.

According to the final results of the competition, the winner of the first place and the owner of the cup was the team representing Khatai region.

The team representing Yasamal district won the 2nd place, and the team representing Binagadi district won the 3rd place.

The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas, cups and souvenirs by the Committee.

At the end, a commemorative photo was taken.

It should be noted that a total of 158 teams from 12 regions (Baku) with 5 participants in each team participated in the intellectual competition "Our future, with us" organized by the initiative of the Committee, and the winning teams from among them got the right to participate in the final round.
