On April 20, 2023, Mrs. Bahar Muradova, the Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs (SCFWCA) met with a group of young people with active pages on social networks.

In line with the implementation of the relevant clauses of the Communication Strategy and Social Media Policy document of the State Committee covering the years 2021-2023, the purpose of the meeting organized as the next event is to strengthen cooperation with bloggers who are distinguished by their activity in social networks, to ensure their participation in the organized events, to inform a wider audience about human rights by involving bloggers in educational activities.

Welcoming the guests, B. Muradova pointed out that cooperation with civil society institutions, mass media and influencers plays an important role in the activities of the Committee. She noted that the propagation of family values, which are important for society, the formation of healthy and strong families, and the provision of violence-free and safe life for women and children are among the important issues for society.

Drawing attention to the meetings and contests organized by the Committee last year within the framework of cooperation with bloggers, B. Muradova informed about the contest to be announced for the second time among influencers this year.

At the end of her speech, she called on bloggers to inform society about issues related to women's and children's rights, put forward the initiative to create a single "hashtag" for the delivery of important social messages, organize the effectiveness of cooperation and related coordination, and pay attention to her proposals regarding the creation of a common network.

Later, the socially active young people who participated in the meeting expressed their gratitude for the initiative of the meeting and voiced their suggestions and opinions on the topic.

Within the framework of the meeting, educational materials were distributed to the participants, reflecting the "Principles of coverage of women's and children's issues in the media". 35 bloggers participated in the meeting.
