A conference on "Women in the Public Sector and Modern Challenges"

On February 28, 2023 the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs organized a conference on "Women in the public sector and modern challenges". The event was held with the aim to encourage the participation of the representatives of the civil society in the public processes of the country, as well as to increase their activity in this direction.
In opening remarks, the Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Bahar Muradova noted that after Azerbaijan's historic victory, development in different directions is evident.
Drawing attention to the role of civil society institutions in Azerbaijan's independence and achievements, the Chairperson noted that civil society has always raised its voice in public affairs. In this sphere, women have taken an active part along with men both in state-building and in defending our achievements.
The event was also addressed by members of the Milli Majlis, the rector of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, the director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications. After the speeches were heard, a discussion was held around the topic.
In conclusion, thanking all the speakers, Bahar Muradova congratulated everyone on the upcoming holidays.
