On 15-16 December 2022 the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs with the support of the European Union in the framework of EU for "Gender Equality: Reform Helpdesk" project organized trainings for deputy heads of the executive power authorities as responsible persons on gender issues on "Gender Equality and Governance".

The trainings provided information on the state policy on gender equality, causes and ways of overcoming gender inequality, global trends, gender-sensitive approach, gender indicators, functions of gender responsible representatives and their role in governance.

Deputy Chair of the State Committee Sadagat Gahramanova and representative of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan Maryam Haji-Ismailova, made speeches at the event.
