Today the UN General Assembly adopted measures to achieve protection of the rights of persons with disabilities in all spheres of public life and to draw public attention to their problems.

In Azerbaijan the state is taking measures to protect the rights of persons with disabilities, restore their health, improve their social security, provide them with housing, acquire professional qualifications and integrate them into society as full members.
