The Chair of the State Committee met with the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Status of Women of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria

On November 4, 2022, Mrs. Bahar Muradova, the Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, who is on a visit to the Republic of Turkey, met with Mrs. Kaouter Krikou, the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Status of Women of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
Speaking about the visit of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev to Algeria, B. Muradova reminded his speech about the history of both countries which is similar in terms of the suffering of the people from the war.
Furthermore, she drew attention to information about the policy and measures implemented by the government of Azerbaijan in the direction of protection of women's and children's rights, ensuring gender equality, as well as combating cases of violence.
At the end of her speech, inviting the minister to Azerbaijan, B. Muradova said that the visit to our country will make an important contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the future.
Noting that they are interested in a mutual exchange of experience, Minister Kaouter Krikou suggested signing a protocol of intent in this direction and preparing a joint action plan. Considering that both countries have suffered from the war, she emphasized the importance of including the issue of strengthening psychosocial support for women and children in the cooperation document.
