An Action Plan was signed between Turkey and Azerbaijan in the field of cooperation on family, women and children issues

On November 4, 2022, the "Action Plan on Cooperation Protocol between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of policy on family, women and children" was signed in Istanbul.
The document was signed by Mrs. Bahar Muradova, Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, on behalf of the government of Azerbaijan, by the relevant Order of the President of the country, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
Thematic working groups will be organized for the implementation of joint activities related to family, women and children's issues, "Turkish World Family Festival" will be held in order to promote, support and further strengthen family values in Turkish states, mutual participation in conferences, seminars, training and similar programs as well as events in the field of family, women and children will be ensured in the Action Plan prepared by the relevant institutions of the Republics of Turkey and Azerbaijan.
In addition, the Assembly of Children's Ambassadors operating under the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Children's Advisory Council under the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey will carry out joint activities in the field of protecting children's rights, increasing children's participation in social activities and leadership qualities.
The Action Plan also includes issues of exchange of experience in the field of family-oriented services, family education, family counseling services and psychosocial support, as well as policy formulation for early childhood development.
The Action Plan covering the years 2023-2025 aims to ensure the constant development of political cooperation between the parties on family, women and children's issues on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.
