As part of a social project implemented to support the health of women and children from vulnerable segments of the population, on September 29, 2022, the State Committee held a meeting with Turkish businesswomen and members of the public who are on a visit to Azerbaijan.

 Welcoming the guests, the Chairperson of the State Committee Mrs. Muradova noted the successful development of cooperation with the fraternal country in all spheres. The Chairperson of the Committee pointed out that the involvement of women of the two fraternal countries in the peace-building process will accelerate work in this area. At the same time, she stressed that Turkey has always been close to Azerbaijan, demonstrating its full support as a brotherly country in such a difficult time.

 Noting that projects related to children are one of the main activities of the Committee, B.Muradova emphasized the interest in cooperation and  willingness to provide support in such an important matter.

Later, the coordinator of the Liv Hospital group, Mary Istrati, thanked the Chairperson for the warm welcome. Informing about her activities, the M.Istroti stressed that within the framework of the ongoing project, free medical services are being implemented for women from vulnerable segments of the population and children of martyrs, she also emphasized that they are always ready to provide support in the future.

The meeting continued with an exchange of views on expanding mutual cooperation.
