With the organization of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and with the support of "Valioglu" LLC, within the framework of the "August 1-7, World Breastfeeding Week" meetings with pregnant and new mothers were held in maternity hospital No. 3 in Surakhani district, No. 4 in Lokbatan settlement of Garadagh district, and the maternity department of the United City Hospital No.26 in Khazar district.

During the meetings, they were informed about the positive effects of breastfeeding on the physical and mental development of children, the changeable psycho-emotional state of women after childbirth, ways to solve the problems faced by women in this transitional period, and useful tips given on the rules for establishing communication with the baby, etc.

At the same time, educational activities were held within the framework of "World Breastfeeding Week" organized by Goranboy, Goygol, Saatli, Sabirabad, Zagatala, Ismailli, Hajigabul Child and Family Support Centers (CFSC).

In medical institutions and public places, young girls and women preparing to become mothers were distributed various educational materials prepared by the Committee on the benefits of breast milk for children and mother's health, the advantages of breastfeeding, and its important role in the development of babies, the effect of the substances contained in milk on the physical and mental development of children.

In total, 94 people benefited from the meetings.
