The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs in cooperation with the UN Development Program within the project "Empowering women in conflict-affected regions in Azerbaijan, creating equal opportunities for them to remove barriers to economic and social participation" held an information session on gender equality for coordinators of the Agjabadi, Barda and Tartar Women's Resource Centers.

The meeting provided information about the Committee's work in promoting gender equality, preventing early marriage and domestic violence, ensuring women's rights and solving their problems. At the end, there was an exchange of views on citizens' appeals to the Resource Centers.
