Trainings are underway for child rights professionals

Article 5.1.4 of the Action Plan for 2020-2025 on the Implementation of the Strategy for Children (Ensuring the training of specialists in various fields of protection of children's rights by organizing trainings and short-term courses) by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.
For this purpose, trainings were held on the basic course of UAFA (United Aid for Azerbaijan) and Georgetown University of the United States with the participation of the staff of the State Committee. The courses, which started on May 6, will consist of practical and theoretical parts and will be taught online through the Zoom platform until July 22, 2022. During the trainings conducted by local and foreign experts, participants will have the opportunity to develop a development plan tailored to each child's needs, gain tools, practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and in-depth knowledge of children's learning and development processes to assess their functional abilities in speech, perception, small and large motor skills, and behavior.
It should be noted that participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate on behalf of the Center for Child and Human Development at Georgetown University, USA.
