This event is a proof of the unshakable will of the Azerbaijani people, a day of national pride that plays an important role in the formation of national identity and the restoration of state independence.

This year, Aghdam, Shuvalan, Saatli, Sabirabad, Hajigabul, Zardab, Goranboy, Goygol, Gabala, Ismayilli, Zagatala Child and Family Support Centers operating under the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs  commemorated the victims of January 20.

Children and their parents, schoolchildren and volunteers benefiting from the services of the centers took part in the events organized in the spirit of patriotism.

As part of the event, the graves of our martyrs were visited. The essence and historical significance of  the event of  January 20   were discussed, poems about the heroism of our people were recited by children and literary and artistic compositions were demonstrated.
