Chairman of the State Committee Bahar Muradova is visiting Fizuli region

On December 20, 2021, a visit to Fizuli was organized with the participation of Mrs. Bahar Muradova, Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, and Mrs. Charu Bist, Acting Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Azerbaijan.

Firstly, the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev was visited. Afterward, the guests visited the Fizuli National Heroes Park and commemorated the heroic sons of the Motherland who died in the struggle for freedom and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.

During the visit, a presentation on "Fuzuli Rapid Impact" projects was held as part of the "Early Rehabilitation and Community Sustainability Project for Vulnerable Groups in Fizuli-Horadiz, Agjabadi and Tartar regions of Azerbaijan" and a video on community projects were shown at the Horadiz Community Resource Center.

The Community Resource Center conducted a series of capacity-building trainings for 8 local government officials. The Center also organized meetings for coordinators of Fizuli, Agjabadi, Tartar Community Resource Centers and coordinators of Zagatala, Gusar and Baku-Caspian Women's Resource Centers to discuss and exchange best practices.

During the visit, the official opening ceremony of the water line took place in Horadiz community.

It should be noted that the visit will continue throughout the day, a meeting will be held with the beneficiaries of the Horadiz Rapid Impact Project, the roads will be officially opened in Ahmadalilar and Gazakhlar villages, and a test run will be held on the repaired roads.
