A series of events are being held in the regions on November 8 - Victory Day

On November 8, in connection with Victory Day, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs organized Child and Family Support Centers (CFSC) in the regions as part of a series of events, drawing competitions on patriotism, visiting the families of martyrs and their graves.
Shuvalan, Hajigabul, Goranboy, Sabirabad, Gabala, Zagatala CFSC organized drawing competitions and exhibitions in the Heydar Aliyev Centers and educational institutions located in the regions. Children of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, schoolchildren and the children benefiting from the services of the centers took part in the competitions.
In their paintings, the young talents depicted the 44-day Patriotic War, our great Victory achieved under the leadership of Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and written in golden letters in our history. Diplomas and certificates were presented to the participants of the competition.
The staff of Shuvalan CFSC together with the families of martyrs and veterans visited the "Park of Military Loot" and took part in the "Victory" fair in the Seaside National Park, dedicated to the great victory in the Great Patriotic War. The mothers of the martyrs, who joined the "Letter to the Soldier" project implemented at the fair, wrote letters reflecting their trust and pride in the Azerbaijani soldier guarding the Motherland.
Also, the first community meeting with the mothers of martyrs was held in the newly commissioned administrative building of Ismayilli CFSC as part of the Victory Day. Zardab, Gabala, Saatli, Sabirabad CFSCs also met with the families of martyrs and veterans.
