Training on “Raising Awareness of Children's Rights” was conducted for RDPU volunteers

The State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Education and the Regional Development Public Union will hold a “Children's Rights” hackathon on November 20-21, 2021. Raising awareness trainings was organized on October 9-10.

The trainings, which were attended by 20 volunteers from different regions, were conducted by Sevil Rasulzadeh, an employee of the Information and Analytical Research Department of the State Committee.

The trainings covered the history of protection and development of children's rights, legislation and international cooperation in the protection of children's rights in Azerbaijan, promotion of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, child participation, early childhood development and protection of children from harmful information, prevention of violations (violence, child labor, exploitation, early marriage, the negative effects of war, discrimination, etc.), parental responsibilities, as well as children deprived of parental care, children with disabilities and other topics, interactive and educational games were organized.

Each volunteer was actively involved in group work and discussions.

At the end, the volunteers were awarded with certificates.
