July 30 is the International Day against Human Trafficking

According to the resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations dated December 18, 2013, July 30 is celebrated as the International Day against Trafficking in Human Beings.

Many agreements, protocols, interstate mutual assistance documents and conventions have been signed at the international level to combat human trafficking.

Numerous measures are being taken in our country to combat this problem and contributions are being made to international cooperation in this field.

The “National Action Plan on Combating Human Trafficking in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2020-2024” was approved by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 22, 2020.

At present, the Committee and the Legal Analysis and Research Public Union are conducting an analysis on "Studying the social and psychological aspects of the problem of human trafficking in the regions, identifying and eliminating the causes."
