Azerbaijanian children once again suffered from Armenian terror on June 4, the Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression
Despite the end of the Second Karabakh War with the signing of a tripartite statement on November 10, 2020, Armenia's provocative actions against Azerbaijan continue.
On June 4, 2021, employees of Azerbaijan Television and the Azerbaijan State Information Agency .a representative of the local authorities filming in our liberated lands lost their lives in a mine explosion in the village of Susuzlug, Kalbajar region, four more people got seriously injured . As a result, the young children of three more families were left without fathers, deprived of the parental care and attention.
The brutal and aggressive behavior of the Armenian Armed Forces became more pronounced during the 44-day Patriotic War.The whole world has witnessed the terrorist attacks of Armenians against the civilian population in Azerbaijan cities and regions of Naftalan, Agjabadi, Ganja and Barda which were outside the conflict zone. The loss of 12 children and the injury of 50 children as a result of these terrorist acts have once again revealed the true face of the Armenian Armed Forces.
The fact that the Armenian Armed Forces have been brutal and aggressive towards the civilian population of Azerbaijan, especially children, for almost 30 years, and the lives and health of people have been in serious danger, is against all human rights norms.
For how long time do the state and people of Azerbaijan have to face Armenia’s fascist nature, the worst and ugliest display of barbarism, enmity against a man and humanity? For how long should life be cut in half, the future be destroyed, dreams be shattered and the responsible international organizations will ignore it and not express the necessary attitude?
After all, it is the duty of each of us to protect children from the effects of war and war crimes, to ensure their right to life. Every child has the right to live with parents in peace and in a happy family environment without any violence.
Therefore, all relevant international organizations and the world community should strongly condemn the Armenian military-political regime, which continues to commit gross violation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, as well as the Geneva Conventions. We call upon the international organizations to take measures to urge Armenia to provide maps of minefields on Azerbaijan’s liberated lands.
