The project on "Support women employment and micro-entrepreneurship" is being implemented in Tovuz region

The State Committee for Family, Women and Children affairs in cooperation with the Public Union "For a Healthy Life" and with the financial support of BP, is implementing a project "Support for women's employment and micro-entrepreneurship" in Tovuz.
The aim of the project is to develop micro-entrepreneurship among rural women, strengthen knowledge and skills in the field of entrepreneurship, and increase employment opportunities.
In March 2020 within the framework of the project trainings on financial and business skills were held for women who want to start their own business.
The project, which was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resumed in September.
On September 20, 2020, 22 women (7 women confectioners, 7 women hairdressers, 7 women tailors, 1 woman millers) started their business in Tovuz region with the participation of representatives of the Executive Power, “For a Healthy Life” Public Union and BP Company. Technical support was provided to strengthen existing businesses, and women were provided with equipment in accordance with the business plan.
