TheChild and Family Support Centres continue online activities of socialintegration and rehabilitation in the regions

As part of the measures taken by the Child and FamilySupport Centres under the State Committee for Family, Women and ChildrenAffairs to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and tostrengthen social isolation in the country, a number of measures are beingtaken to effectively organize children's leisure time and summer holidays.
For this purpose, the State Committee conducts onlinetrainings on psychology, speech therapy and development for children withspecial needs in order to ensure their social inclusion and socialrehabilitation, as well as to develop their existing capacities and skills.
During June-July 2020, 683 online sessions wereconducted for 220 children several times a week. Along with children, their parents also took part in trainings and received necessary advice and recommendations to improve their parenting skills.
In order to prevent the lossof the progress achieved by children with special needs, online-education willcontinue during the quarantine period.
