The meeting was attended by Jamila Bagirova, Head of the Department of Children's Issues of the State Committee, Adigozal Adigozalov, Head of the Department for Preventive Work with Minors of the Main Department of Public Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vafa Agayeva, Officer of the Center for Public Health and Reforms of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Mahbuba Mustafayeva, Deputy Head of the Communication Department, and Vusala Zahirova, an employee of the above mentioned  department, and Kamala Ashumova, Executive Director of the “Hopeful Future” Social Initiatives Public Union.

 Mrs. Jamila Bagirova spoke about the events caused by parental negligence and irresponsibility, and called on parents to be responsible and caring always for their children, as well as the measures taken by the Committee in this direction. Mr. Adigozal Adigozalov, Chief of the Department for Preventive Work with Minors of the Main Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, spoke about  the work  and urgent measures done in recent years to protect the rights of children in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 Mrs. Mahbuba Mustafayeva and  Mrs. Vusala Zahirova from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and  Mrs.Kamala Ashumova, Executive Director of the Umidli Gelecek Social Initiatives Public Union, spoke about parent-child relations, the importance of parental care, comprehensive measures and brought detained provisions of the legislation to the attention .

At the end of the meeting, the participants noted the importance of joint cooperation in order to achieve effective results in this area.
