The employees of the SCFWCA have donated blood for the children suffering from thalassemia and hemophilia.

On 7 April, blood donation campaign was arranged at the National Haematology and Transfusion Center with the initiative of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children in response to the call of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The Blood Donation Campaign has run with the aim of collecting sufficient supplies of blood for children with thalassemia and hemophilia in the country and supporting children with the disease recover and return to their normal lives.

It should be noted that such a humanistic campaign attracted a lot of people and the locations was crowded with eager donors.

The blood samples collected during the campaign will be used to treat thalassemia, hemophilia, and other hereditary blood diseases after a thorough examination of the laboratory.
