The “Azerbaijan Family” film festival has been successfully implemented since 2009 with the joint efforts of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the UN Population Fund.

The main objective of the festival is to promote family values through the cinematography and photography art, to preserve and to pass the national and spiritual values to the future generations, to highlight existing problems in society, to discover creativity in youth, to enrich the fund of video and photo materials in the mentioned areas for the purpose of further raising awareness of the population.

İn accordance with the tradition, the next film festival "Azerbaijan family 2017" was launched on March 30 with the final deadline on 1 October. During the passed 6 months, different and interesting works by professional and amateur participants were presented to the organizing committee of the festival. All presented films and photos were evaluated by the competent jury of the festival.

The award ceremony of the "Azerbaijan Family 2017" film festival will be held at the International Mugam Center on November 2, 2017 at 14.30. Participants of the film and photo competitions, representatives of government agencies, executive authorities and non-governmental organizations and students are expected to participate in the closing ceremony.

Taking into account the importance of the event, mass media representatives are invited  to cooperate actively.
