The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and the “Baku Metropolitan” Closed Joint-Stock Company on 24 of May of 2017 held the event under the title “Model of Azerbaijani family: values and traditions”

The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan permanently carries out different projects with the purpose of implementation of the state family policy focused on such topics as national and family values, family-marriage relations, early marriage and other topics.

As the continuation of these events within the framework of the Action Plan on implementation of Memorandum about cooperation signed between the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and the “Baku Metropolitan” Closed Joint-Stock Company on 24 of May of 2017  held the event under the title “Model of Azerbaijani family: values and traditions”.

The event was opened by the chairperson of “Baku Metropolitan” Closed Joint-Stock Company Mr. Hidayat Mammadov. He grated all the guests of the event, and thanked the Committee for holding such kind of events.

Afterwards the floor was given to the Deputy Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Mrs. Aynur Sofiyeva. She  noted that historically Azerbaijani family had very beautiful and rich family traditions at the same time one of the main purposes is transmission of the traditions to the future generations.

Mrs. Sofiyeva noted that family policy is one of priority directions of the state policy and informed the participants of the event about the work held by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children events in this direction.

Head of Department of Political Philosophy Institute of Philosophy of National Academy of Sciences, Professor Rena Mirzazade highlighted  family values and their meaning in bringing up young generation in the right way.

At the end of the event relevant booklets published   by the Committee were presented to the library of the Training and Education Center.
