The meetings were held in Gobustan and Shamakhi regions  to increase the participation of women in the election on February 1, 2024, within the framework of the cooperation of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs  with the Central Election Commission (CEC).  

Ms. Maleyka Yahyayeva, the representative of Absheron-Gobustan District Election Commission, Mr. Huseyn Rajabov, the chairperson of Shamakhi District Election Commission No. 88 and Ms. Nurana Mammadova, chairperson of precinct No. 19 of the same District noted the importance of the first election held after the restoration of our sovereignty for our country in the meetings held in Sundu village of Gobustan and Shahriyar settlement of Shamakhi.
