The Chairpeson of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs, Ms. Bahar Muradova, spoke at the plenary session of the Milli Majlis with information on ensuring gender equality in 2022 On December 9, 2023.

According to Article 20 of the Law "On Guarantees of Gender Equality", the information covered 3 main directions:

1. The main directions of the state policy and the duties of the state regarding the provision of gender equality;

2. Ensuring gender equality in various fields;

3. Results achieved in the field of ensuring gender equality in Azerbaijan, tasks and recommendations.

After the information was heard, it was discussed and accepted by majority vote.
