A series of events were held, including educational meetings, actions, educational seminars on parent-child relations and parenting skills, art master classes, art exhibitions, psychological trainings, interactive trainings, monitoring of gender violence and violence against children, round tables were organized with the participation of group members by Agdam, Shuvelan, Saatli, Sabirabad, Hajigabul, Ismailli, Gabala, Zardab, Goygol, Goranboy, Zagatala Child and Family Support Centers of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs together with relevant institutions within the framework of the campaign"16 days of activity against gender-based violence".

Employees of  Child and Family Support Centers of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs , regional administrations, organizations and institutions, law enforcement agencies, representatives of NGOs, museums and libraries, teacher-student collective of educational institutions, youth, community residents participated in the events held in centers, educational institutions, sports complexes.

Detailed information was provided about the purpose of the "16-day activism against gender-based violence" campaign, the work done in this direction in our country, and the rights and freedoms of citizens determined by legislation were discussed during  all events.

The legal and psychological assistance provided to women and girls subjected to violence was discussed, and information was given about the 860 Gender-based Violence Support Line.

Within the framework of the campaign, the employees of the centers also visited the families from the vulnerable group, assessed their needs, and gave the children developmental supplies.

In addition to these, booklets on combating gender-based violence were distributed and awareness-raising activities were carried out in the centers of the districts, in the bus station area and in other places with a large population.

It should be noted that "16 days of activism against gender-based violence" is an international campaign held annually between November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) and December 10 (International Human Rights Day). Individuals and organizations around the world call on everyone to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls through this campaign.
