4-days training on "The main mechanisms supporting the institution of family and marriage" has started

Within the framework of the joint cooperation of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs and the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey, the training-seminar on "The main mechanisms supporting the institution of family and marriage" for psychologists which will continue from September 25 to 28 September , 2023 has started today.

About 40 psychologists are participating in the training aimed at increasing the professionalism of specialists operating in the relevant field and training trainers.

Mrs. Aynur Sofiyeva, Deputy Chairperson of the State Committee spoke at the official opening event, welcomed the participants and noted that the Memorandum on cooperation in the relevant field between Turkey and Azerbaijan was signed and the activities in this context were successfully continued.

Mrs. Aynur Sofiyeva emphasized that as a Committee, the theme of supporting the institution of family and marriage is always kept in mind, such events are held for the purpose of training professional personnel in the mentioned field.

She said that it is important to take advantage of the experience of the brotherly country in this field, expressed her belief that the training will be useful for psychologists working with families, and wished success to the participants. At the end of her speech, A. Sofiyeva said that the family institution is facing various threats today, and the importance of fighting it together as the Turkish World, protecting family values and passing them on to future generations.

It should be noted that during the 4-days training, Mrs. Esra Yaman, head of the Department of Family Education and Community Services of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Mrs. Samiye Korkmaz, head of the Department of Family Education and Community Services of the Ministry, will teach the participants about working mechanisms with families before and during marriage, and the correctness of relationships in families and provide information on the topics of conducting therapies for the purpose of establishment.
