"Together We Are Stronger!" summer camp was started

The summer camp started with the participation of 100 girls representing most regions of Azerbaijan under the organization of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs on August 22, 2023.
Speaking at the opening of the camp. Mrs. Aynur Sofiyeva, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee, said that such summer schools and camps are regularly organized by the Committee.
She noted that during the next 10 days, the participants will have fun and relaxation, as well as educational exercises, and motivational meetings with well-known people with success stories: "I believe that these meetings will make your decisions and development more confident in the future, especially the steps you will take in the coming period.".
A. Sofiyeva said that our state has created all conditions for the permanent development of children. She drew attention to the important work done by both Mr. President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva in the direction of protecting children's rights, their good education, and access to quality health services.
The Deputy Chairperson stated that the "Strategy for Children of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2020-2030", which includes everything related to children's issues in the form of a comprehensive approach, was adopted in 2020.
A. Sofiyeva said that Azerbaijan has created new realities in the region after the victory written in our history as a great victory. She added, "creative, constantly working on themselves, knowledgeable and educated young people are needed for the continuous and stable development of Azerbaijan and the formation of successful human capital."
Declaring that the development of girls and increasing their activity in society is an important direction for the Committee, the deputy chairman added that the organization of such camps for our girls will contribute to them and those girls will be a flagship for their peers.
In the end, she expressed her belief that the camp will be remembered with interesting moments for girls and wished success to all participants.
Later, together with the participants, the flag of the camp was raised and gifts were presented to the children.
The camp continued with the "Thinking Errors" training of Taravat Askerova, personal development mentor.
It should be noted that the children, children of martyrs and veterans, who were distinguished by their activity during the events held in the region, will participate in the summer camp. The aim of the camp is to effectively organize girls' free time, increase social activity, as well as support the formation of leadership qualities. The 10-day camp will include training on various topics, excursions and fun games. In addition, camp participants will have meetings with well-known figures of Azerbaijan who have achieved success in their activities.
