The State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs, as a continuation of the work done in the direction of increasing the level of awareness of the negative consequences of early marriage and marriage between relatives, The Committee's Agdam, Shuvelan, Saatli, Sabirabad, Hajigabul, Gabala, Ismayilli, Goygol, Goranboy, Zardab, Zagatala Children and Family Support Centers organized "Letter to the Head of the Family" actions, educational meetings, and visits was organized to families in order to prevent girls from dropping out of school.

In educational events, residents were given information about the consequences of early marriages, the dangers posed by teenage pregnancy to the health and life of the baby who will be born together with the mother, as well as the increased risk of a number of hereditary diseases during consanguineous marriages.

At the same time, they talked about the criminal liability stipulated in the legislation in cases of forcing women and minors to enter into marriage.

It has been brought to the attention of parents that early marriages lead to children's evasion of education, lack of job opportunities in the future, and domestic violence.

Ismailli Children and Families Support Center has sent letters to the Representative Offices of Ismailli District Executive Authority for the purpose of timely detection and joint prevention of early marriage facts.

Educational leaflets called "Letter to the Head of the Family" were also added to the letters to be printed and distributed among the residents of the region.

Employees of Child and Family Support, Centers members of expert groups of centers, community residents, parents, volunteers took part in the events held with the support of relevant institutions.

In total, 702 people benefited from the educational activities.
