The training was held for the members of the monitoring group on gender violence and violence against children established  under  the executive authorities of Ismayilli, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Agsu, Ujar and Agdash districts at the Heydar Aliyev Center of Goychay district On May 26, 2023.

The purpose of the training, which was organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Affairs was to implement the relevant clauses of the "National Action Plan for 2020-2023 on the fight against domestic violence in the Republic of Azerbaijan", as well as to strengthen the measures to prevent domestic violence and discuss the issues such as conducting preventive work in the field of combating violence.

Before the training, the National Leader Heydar Aliyev's monument was visited, flowers were placed in front of it, and the great leader's memory was commemorated with respect.

Mrs. Zivar Zeynalova,  Deputy Head of Goychay District Executive Power welcomed the event participants and informed them about the work done in the field of domestic violence prevention.

Mr. Tural Huseynzade, representative of the State Committee made a presentation on the topic "Analysis of the activity of monitoring groups on domestic violence and measures to be taken at the legal level."

In the training, which continued with an exchange of ideas and a question-and-answer session, the speeches of the heads of monitoring groups on gender violence and violence against children were heard.
