The representatives of the Council, the Ganja City Executive Authority, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the Media Development Agency, the regional department of the Ministry of Science and Education, representatives of a number of non-governmental organizations, as well as representatives of regional audiovisual media subjects participated at the event organized by the Audiovisual Council.

Opening the event, Hashim Alimammadzadeh, Assistant Chair of the Audiovisual Council, spoke about the importance of the event organized on the eve of International Children's Day on June 1 and said that the protection of children's rights is one of the most urgent issues in the world.

Speaking at the event, Sevil Rasulzadeh, Senior Advisor of the Information and Analytical Analysis Department of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, informed about the work done in the direction of the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Protection of Children from Harmful Information". She also brought to attention the information about the attestation of experts in this field.

The representative of the committee gave recommendations to representatives of mass media and broadcasters regarding the coverage of children's rights and children's issues in the media.

The round table continued in the format of a mutual exchange of ideas and experience, dialogue and discussion.
