According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the declaration of 2023 as the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in the Republic of Azerbaijan, a series of events are being held in all regions of Azerbaijan.

In this regard, in March-May 2023, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding political and statesman Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent Azerbaijan state, various events, including scientific conferences, round tables, educational meetings competitions, master classes, sports competitions was held by the Agdam, Shuvelan, Saatli, Sabirabad, Hajigabul, Gabala, Ismayilli, Goygol, Goranboy, Zardab, Zagatala Child and Family Support Centers (CFSC) of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs with the participation of talented young people, children and adolescents.

Employees of CFSC, members of expert groups of the centers, representatives of the district community, members of the families of martyrs, veterans, teachers and students of schools, students, children in need of special care and parents took part in the events held with the support of the relevant institutions.

Speakers talked about the meaningful life path of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, the great politician and historical genius, his unparalleled services to our people and the state, the formation of state policy in the field of family, women and children's issues in Azerbaijan under the leadership of the Great Leader, the protection and promotion of women's and children's rights at the events. They talked about the measures implemented in the direction of increasing the participation of women in the implementation of state policy. In the speeches, the National Leader's endless love for children and his always attentive and caring approach to them were mentioned, and the importance of raising children, teenagers and young people in a patriotic spirit connected with our national and spiritual values and historical roots was specially emphasized.

Documentary films about the life and activities of the National Leader were shown at the events, poems and songs were performed by schoolchildren.

In total, more than 1500 participants benefited from the events.
