A series of commemorative events were held by the Child and Family Support Centers of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs with the support of the relevant structures in connection with the 31st anniversary of Khojaly genocide.
The events were attended by employees of the centers and relevant structures, members of the martyrs' family, residents of Khojaly, teachers and students of educational institutions, families who use the services of the centers, and representatives of the public in the districts.
A minute of silence was paid to the victims of Khojaly genocide and our martyrs during the events.
It was noted that our people and future generations will never forget the Khojaly massacre, which was part of Armenia's planned policy of ethnic cleansing and aggression against Azerbaijan for many years.
Over the years there has been a purposeful activity to bring our rightful voice of Khojaly massacre to the world at the international level, as part of the international campaign "Justice for Khojaly".
Residents of Khojaly also spoke and shared their memories of the date. At the same time, poems on patriotic themes were performed by schoolchildren, and art compositions were presented.
In total, 755 people took part in the events.
It should be noted that the activities carried out in this direction are of particular importance for the education of children, adolescents and young people in the spirit of patriotism.
