A joint project of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and the "Azerbaijan Publishers Association" Public Union, "KHAN Publishing House" as well as "Audiobook" announced a story competition called "Children of Victory" as a part of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev".

The main goal of organizing the competition is to convey the protection of children's rights to the public in an artistic form by turning it into a literary theme, to educate the population by creating works that contain information about social responsibility based on gender equality, education of children and adolescents in the spirit of national and moral values, and the protection of their rights, and to encourage the writing of new stories by attracting those with creative potential to the competition.

The deadline for acceptance of stories for the contest is on May 1, 2023, on the occasion of June 1 - International Children's Day.

The stories will be evaluated by a jury consisting of experts in children's issues, professional writers and sociologists. The first 10 stories that received the most points from the judges will be published in the form of a book, and the winners of the first 3 places will be awarded diplomas and gifts.
