State Committee fot Family, Women and Children Affairs permanently carries out various activities directed to aim public attention to family issues, to preserve family values and forward them to future generations, to prepare young generation to family life and  to promote  healthy lifestyle.

 The next event within the framework of the awareness raising project “Say NO to early marriages for the healthy lifestyle” was held on 2 April of 2015 in Qobustan area of Garadagh district.

The event was opened by the Deputy head of Qaradagh Executive Power Tarana Ismayilova, she  greeted the participants and noted the relevance of this event.

Afterwards the floor was given to deputy head of the State Committee for Family, Woman and Children Affairs Aynur Sofiyeva. In her speech she  spoke about activities hold by the Committee for the purpose of preventing early marriages facts.

She noticed the need ofpreventing early marriages and about the problems coming from blood-relatives marriage.

 The senior advisor of the Department on Information and analytical researches of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Aynur Veyselova  informed about  early marriages and their consequences.

Elnur Aliyev, assistant of Prosecutor of Qaradagh district, Firidun Huseynov,executive secretary of the Commission on Minors of Local Executive Power of Garadagh district, Haci Qaraoghlan Hasanov, Rena Agayeva doctor-gynaecology of United City Hosital number 17 and Elnara Nuriyeva, Psychologist of Secondary School number 195 spoke consequences of this problem in the meeting.

Comprehensive discussions were held afterwards. At the end of this event the booklets were distributed among the participants.
