With the aim to expand the activities of the Child Ambassadors Council under the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, the pilot project was launched in December 2022 to establish local representations at high schools.
As a result of the voting held at the Heydar Aliyev Lyceum on 28 December, representatives of the Child Ambassadors Council were elected at this educational institution.
The next school where the pilot project was launched is the S. V. Peshawari Humanities Gymnasium, where representatives of the Child Ambassadors' Council were also elected by a vote on January 24.
The main purpose of establishing Child Ambassadors' Council representations in general education institutions is to increase children's activity in protecting children's rights, develop a management and leadership culture, ensure their participation in issues affecting children, and increase their social activism.
