On January 13, 2023, an online workshop was conducted for the staff of the Child and Family Support Centres under the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs on the use of social media. The training was attended by 25 employees of the Centre.

The representative of the State Committee Mr. Elgun Safarov highlighted the relevance of social media opportunities today and emphasized the importance of active work of representatives of state structures and every citizen to promote exemplary families, successful women and talented children in the society.

During the workshop the participants were informed about the "Communication Strategy" and the "Social Media Policy" of the State Committee. 

The security and activity of the centres' official social media accounts, management methods, rules for responding to citizens' requests as well as recommendations for information exchange were mentioned.
At the end, the challenges faced by the participants in managing the social media were discussed.
