The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, together with the Representation of the United Nations in Azerbaijan, implements the 16-Day Action Campaign against Gender-Based Violence in our country every year.
Within the framework of the mentioned campaign, discussions on gender-based violence are currently being organized in 16 regions with the participation of the State Committee's Child and Family Support Centers, Women's Resource Centers, university and college students and employees, as well as local community representatives.
The purpose of organizing regional-level discussions is to raise awareness about domestic violence, discuss the negative consequences of violence, and contribute to raising awareness of existing protection mechanisms for the protection of victims.
