For 2 years now, our people have been celebrating the liberation of Shusha from occupation with great joy and pride as Victory Day.

Our Glorious Victory in the Patriotic War was won at the cost of the mighty leadership of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the bravery of our soldiers and officers, heroism and the blood of our martyrs.

In particular, the Shusha operation has become the brightest page of our military history.

The declaration of this year as the "Year of Shusha" at the state level by the decree of the head of the country once again confirms the historical importance and high cultural and spiritual value of our cultural capital for the people of Azerbaijan.

Today, every Azerbaijani proudly shouts the slogans "we are the winners", "Shusha is free", and "Karabakh is Azerbaijan" with great enthusiasm.
