On October 14, 2022, a conference on "Child protection: an environment for dialogue and inter-agency cooperation" was held under the joint organization of the Baku City Education Department (BCED) and the Representative Office of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Speaking at the conference, Mrs. Aynur Sofiyeva, Deputy Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs spoke about the work done at the state level in terms of raising children as worthy citizens in Azerbaijan, a reliable guarantee of children's rights, solving social problems related to children.

Within the framework of the conference, relevant proposals regarding cooperation in the direction of more effective organization of child protection were put forward, and opinions were exchanged on the topic.
