Within the framework of the program "Study of Korean policy to prevent prenatal sex selection of children" a joint project was held by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) for the purpose of protecting reproductive health of young people, preventing prenatal sex selection of children and increasing gender knowledge among young people.

Ji-Won Yoon, Woo-Yong Jung, Ra-Il Hwang, So-Young Park, Jungheung Koh and Hyunsuk Lee participated in the final event of the project. Korean experts spoke about gender policy among young people and the role of the "Gender culture center" in the implementation of this policy.

Rafig Mahmudov, chief adviser of the State Committee, and project manager, emphasized the importance of the project in his speech.

Employees of the State Committee and about 70 employees of the Committee's Child and Family Support Centers, including Community and Women's Resource Centers participated in the online seminar.

The event continued with discussions.
