The last day of the Summer Program organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs for journalism students on July 25-29 in the Ismayilli region was also productive.
First, media expert Ainur Bashirli spoke on the topic of gender equality and inclusive development, family and society, representation of women and men in the media.
Then Sevil Rasulzadeh, an employee of the Information and Analytical Research Department of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children, informed the students about the coverage of children's rights in the media and the obligations of journalists in this direction.
The participants then held group discussions on children's rights.
Teymur Mammadov, assistant chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, press secretary, met with students and brought to their attention his recommendations on covering women's and children's issues, especially suicide, and violence in the media.
At the same time, psychologist Rovshan Najafov expressed his opinion on the psychological aspect of the topics discussed. During the training, the psychologist, speaking on the topic "Human Engineering", conducted interesting psychological tests among the participants and recorded the results.
At the end, students were awarded certificates for active participation.
