The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs held an awards ceremony for journalists for fruitful cooperation on the occasion of the National Press Day, on July 22, 2022.

Chairperson of the State Committee Mrs. Bahar Muradova congratulated all media representatives, especially journalists who are effectively working in the direction of the family, women and children.

Mrs.Bahar Muradova noted that 147 years have passed since the creation of the “Akinchi” newspaper, the first sample of the Azerbaijani press.

The Chairperson of the State Committee also outlined the importance of the International Media Forum held in Shusha, stressed that the celebration of the Day of National Press at the summit in Shusha is of particular importance.

She noted about the points in the congratulatory letter addressed to this international forum by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

Media representatives were awarded certificates and gifts for effective cooperation with the State Committee.

Media representatives expressed their gratitude and made a number of proposals to improve mutual cooperation.
